Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Application Deadline Extended

Due to multiple deadlines faced by Maine communities as we approach year’s end, the deadline for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) applications has been extended to January 31, 2008 at 5:00 pm.

Technical assistance in developing applications is available to communities in several ways. The application and instruction materials are available on the MEMA website or through email. Many questions can be answered by phone at (800) 452-8735.

One on one consultations for application assistance can also be arranged. We recommend that these requests be made promptly so that consultations can be scheduled well in advance of the January 31st deadline.
